AN EVENTFUL TRADE FAIR APPEARANCE FOR CARRIER COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION, EUROSHOP 2020
For five days in February 2020, Carrier Commercial Refrigeration presented its latest high-performance refrigeration systems at EuroShop, the world's largest trade show for food retail investors. Some 94,000 visitors came to 16 exhibition halls, learning about trends, concepts and products for the retail industry. Carrier's vision of a cool future was brought to life in a "City Park" with several "Cool Spots". The eye-catcher of the 1,310 square meter booth in Hall 16 was "The Forum" with a piazza and bar as the central meeting point. The Convenience Store, which was furnished with furniture in an "organic look", offered small snacks for the fair visitors.
Interactive stand concept for product presentation, press conference and expert advice
Apart from a press conference at which Carrier announced its latest contract signing, expert tours with a tour guide system were held daily. Seven variable-use meeting rooms with space for up to 24 people were available for intensive technical discussions and competent advice.

The modern trade fair concept skillfully staged the innovative refrigeration technologies: A stylized "green lung" under the ceiling of the stand served as an eye-catcher, arousing the interest of the trade fair visitors from afar. In a replica supermarket with fresh, frozen and gourmet areas, retailers were able to convince themselves of the performance of the refrigeration units. The convenience store, where Carrier's QuietCool Unit was used, was operated in a real life scenery, demonstrating the advantages of the sustainably designed cooling systems. A ski simulator even enabled a virtual ski trip, in reference to in Norway's first indoor ski hall SNØ, which features Carrier's product highlight, the innovative CO2refrigeration system PowerCO2OL.
Sollik realizes trade fair appearance with a claim to ecology at EuroShop
In addition to brand events and product presentations, Andreas Sollik repeatedly creates modern trade fair stand designs or takes over the technical planning for befriended stand builders. However, the complex EuroShop trade fair project for new customer Carrier Commercial Refrigeration was a premiere even for the Sollik event team. The well thought-out trade fair concept with various exhibition and experience areas prevailed in the pitch against several competitors - not least due to the "city park feeling" and the successful integration of sustainability aspects. Thanks to the excellent cooperation with Patric Baumgarten, the external project manager and consultant on the customer side, the live presentation of sustainable and innovative refrigeration equipment was a real visitor experience.
Note: All food that was still usable and presented in the Carrier refrigeration cabinets during the five-day fair was donated to the charity organisation „Düsseldorfer Tafel“.
