When you`re with Californian video and mobile games manufacturer Electronic Arts even a "test game" becomes an unforgettable experience. In July 2019, journalists, game changers and professional players from all over the world met for three days in the AdidasFootball Base in Berlin to try outthe latest features of EA SPORTS FIFA 20. About 30 of those game changers, professional gamers, and the developers exchanged their ideas about possible optimizations to be implemented by September when the product will be launched. There were also first interviews with representatives of the specialist press in the field of computers and gaming who were enthusiastic about the product and the new game modes.

Sports event with virtual street soccer and real duels for the ball

The industrial building of the Berlin Adidas Sports Centre was the perfect setting for the preliminary presentation of the latest FIFA edition with the high lightVOLTA FOOTBALL. In addition to the gaming area with 60 gaming stations, there was a press lounge and a catering area. Of course, matches were not only played on the consoles, but also on the indoor soccer fields of THE BASE. Real soccer was the perfect complement to the virtual gaming experience. The gamers learned something new about their opponents playing football tennis or three vs. three. On the court they were able to prove their skills and game intelligence face-to-face. Balls and shoes were provided by Adidas so that everyonecould play spontaneously.

The Sollik event team has been working with the global events team of Electronic Arts for a long time. In 2019 for the first time, the European station of the international EA Producer Tour was supervised by the event specialists from Sollik, Cologne. The modern EA sports event was a complete success and was filled with life - also behind the scenes – by the team spirit of all participants. Also the cooperation with Adidas went smoothly.
